REALISM:

"I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that's precisely why I succeed."
                                                                                       - Michael Jordan
This quote is "real" to me because what he is saying is that he wasn't perfect, he had to fail a couple of times to fix his mistakes. in order for him to fix his mistakes he had to practice harder, and when you now look back on MJ's career you can see how he improved in order to win 6 championships.

MEDIA OWNERSHIP:

One of the biggest Media Companies in the world right now is Apple. The reason I say this, is because of it's impact on our everyday technology.here are some products by apple that we use: the Iphone, Ipod, Ipad, & Mac Books. These products help us to interact socialy, work at a faster pace, or entertain ourselves. Some Products that they help put out are "Apps" which are downloadable programs that can be used to do anything, it just depends on which kind you are looking for. Apple has helped Dr. Dre's "Beats By Dre" headphone company blow up by advertising it with their phones and and putting out a great sound quality on their apple devices.

Interview Parent

I interviewed my step-mom on what my half-sister (4 years old) is able to watch or use media related. She said that in order for my sister to watch tv they have to be educational, for example my half-sister can watch "Nick Jr." because those are nothing but educational cartoons for toddlers. If she wants to play video games, then she has her leapfrog leap pad which are educational learning games. But my Step-mom also puts her in other activities like dancing, karate, cheerleading etc... So she isn't always in the house. basically my step-mom said it's all on the parent and how they choose to raise their child.
